Dr. Grace Nalwoga Kigozi
Grace is a public health research specialist with a focus on data quality assurance, control, and compliance. She has worked with the Rakai Health Sciences Program for over 20 years in various capacities.
Currently she heads the department of quality control and compliance and as part of her roles, she works with the different departments within the organization to ensure that we produce quality data. Together with her team, she spearheads a wide range of procedures that ensure strict adherence to protocols and best practice standards including standard operating procedures.
In pursuit of these roles, she ensures all departments comply with good clinical practices (GCP) and conduct activities according to standard ethical considerations, organize training and re-training sessions as per study requirements. Her research interests are in the field of ethics, exploring new ways of ensuring meaningful informed consent, broad consent, collective/family autonomy and documentation.
